Here is a recipe for chewy brownies that can be made in just one bowl and without an electric mixer:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease the sides with butter.
In a large heatproof bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop. Add the sugar to the melted butter and stir until well combined.
Add the eggs, one at a time, to the bowl and stir after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Sift in the cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder, and stir until well combined.
Add the flour to the bowl and stir until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
Enjoy your delicious, chewy brownies!
